Small Businesses Can Receive Free Energy-Saving Products and Installation from SCE
Southern California Edison (SCE) and the City ofSouth Gateare pleased to announce that the Direct Install program will be coming toSouth Gate to offer energy-efficient equipment installed at no cost to you. If you're a qualified small business owner using less than 100 kilowatts of electricity per month, and if you're seeking new ways to reduce expenses and cut operational costs, then this offer may be right for you.
The Direct Install program is quick and easy. First, an SCE-approved contracted vendor and energy expert will be in your area for approximately2 weeksstarting onlate Augustto give you advice and help you get started. The vendor will conduct a simple energy survey of your facility at no cost to you, and may offer to replace certain equipment with energy-efficient items free of charge.
If you agree with the vendor's recommendations,they will make arrangements to install the recommended energy-efficient replacement equipment at no cost to you. This is a quick process that takes less than two hours and can be done while you're open for business.

* The Direct Install program is funded by California utility rate payers and administered by Southern California Edison under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Eligibility for projects requires an SCE contractor recommendation and customer's written authorization. Funding limited to a maximum $10,000 per project site. Additional terms and conditions apply. Program is offered on a first-come, first served basis until funds are exhausted or program is terminated, whichever occurs first.
