• Curb Painting Scam
  (PDF format - 121kb) The South Gate Police Department has been advised that a Male Hispanic, approximately 25-30 years of age, is going around painting address numbers on residential curbs and then asking - in some cases very aggressively - homeowners to donate money for his paint job. This individual may be wearing an orange construction-style work vest to make it appear that he works for the city of South Gate. He does not.
