Public Works

The Public Works Department is responsible for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of all public infrastructure and public right-of-way. Through the functions of engineering, general maintenance, street maintenance, water, sewer, refuse and recycling, street sweeping and storm water maintenance, the Public Works Department is dedicated to promoting a safe and healthy environment for the citizens of South Gate.
