Facility Rental Information

The Departmentof Parks and Recreation has facilities that are available for rentals. These facilities range in size and can accommodate different types of events, such as meetings or weddings; the facility rental includes tables and chairs. You can call to check on availability of facility and for rates; but all reservations must be made in person with the required payment. Reservations are made at the Parks Administration Office located at 4900 Southern Ave, office hours are Monday through Thursday, 7am to 5pm. Additional information to keep in mind before making a reservation:

  1. The LATEST you can be in any facility is 11:00 PM at which time, hall must be clean and all guests out.
  2. SECURITY GUARDS are REQUIRED for Wedding Receptions, Presentations, ANY function that will be having 300 guests or more, other special functions at the parks discretion.
  3. EVENT MONITORS are required for any event that will have more than 150 guests or more in attendance.
  4. NO ALCOHOL PERMITTED; Citations will be issued, your rental priviledges may be revoked and refundable deposit will not be returned.
  5. Must rent any of our facilities for a minimum of 4 hours.

Please have the following items and information regarding your event with you, when coming in to make a reservation:

  • Must have a valid California I.D. or Drivers License and a utility bill.
  • Your reservation date must be AT LEAST 2 WEEKS in advance and NO MORE THAN 6 MONTHS ahead of time from the date you come in.
  • Please include your decorating and clean-up time in your facility rental hours.
  • Payment in FULL for security guards, if applicable.
  • 50 % of the total room rental hours, kitchen fee, if applicable.
  • Payment in FULL of Refundable Damage Deposit fee.
  • Pament in FULL of Event Monitor fee, if applicable.
