Volunteer Program

The South Gate Police Department welcomes volunteers to supplement every division of the department by assisting in Traffic, Records, Jail, Property and Evidence, Crime Prevention, Detectives, and the Crime Impact Team. Volunteers are instrumental in coordinating and manning DUI checkpoints and cruising details, as well as various fundraisers and special events throughout the year.
