Citizen Academy

The Citizen's Academy is designed to offer the Citizens of our Community an opportunity to see the Police Department from the inside out. Participants are able to see how the different divisions operate and meet several Police Department employees. Activities range from classroom discussions to role playing. The class graduates as a team at the City Council meeting following the last academy class. The next Citizen's Academy is scheduled to start Thursday, June 25th, 2009. The Academy will last for eight weeks, meeting one night per week. Applications can be obtained at the Police Department front counter. For more information on this program, call Sgt.
