Gregory Martinez was elected to the City Council on January 28, 2003, re-elected on March 3, 2003 andMarch 6, 2007. His term of office is in March 2011.Vice MayorMartinez is a long-time resident of the City of South Gate and is an active member of the Rotary Club and the South Gate Chamber of Commerce.
