Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is a committee of five citizens who are appointed by the City Council to review matters related to land use, planning law, environmental and developmental issues. The Commission holds regularly scheduled public hearings to consider such land use matters as the general plan, specific plans, site plans, rezoning, use permits and subdivisions. This Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 8650 California Ave., South Gate.
