Tweedy Mile Street Fair

On Friday, June 4 to Sunday, June 6, 2010, Tweedy Mile Association, in cooperation with the City of South Gate will celebrate its 20^th Annual Tweedy Mile Street Fair. Taking place between California and Alexander, on Tweedy Bl., the Fair offers a safe family environment for visitors to enjoy carnival rides, entertainment on two main-performance stages, international foods, a petting zoo, and arts and crafts.

Fair hours: Friday 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Street Closures
From California to Alexander streets, Tweedy Boulevard will be closed to traffic from Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 12.00 a.m. and will reopen on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 8 a.m.

Carnival ride early bird, $.50, discounted tickets: available for sale from Friday, May 15^th to Thursday, June 3, 2010, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. On Thursday June 3, 2010 discounted tickets will only be available until 2 p.m.
