The LAUSD Office of Environmental Health & Safety (OEHS) invites you to attend a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Scoping Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to inform and obtain input from the community on the types of issues to be considered in a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR).

 

What is a Draft EIR? The Draft EIR is a report that evaluates the potential effects the new school project may have on the surrounding environment, such as noise, traffic, etc.

South Region High School #9

(Ubicado al norte de Tweedy Avenue y Adella Avenue)

La Oficina de Salud y Seguridad Ambiental (OEHS por sus siglas en inglés), del LAUSD le invita a una reunión sobre el Acta de Calidad Ambiental de California (CEQA, por sus siglas en inglés).  El objetivo de esta reunión es el de informar y recibir las sugerencias y opiniones de la comunidad acerca de los temas que deben tomarse en cuenta en el Borrador del Informe sobre el Impacto al Medio Ambiente (Draft EIR, por sus siglas en inglés).

 

¿Qué es un Borrador del Informe sobre el Impacto al Medio Ambiente (Draft EIR)? Es un reporte que evalúa cualquier impacto que la construcción de esta nueva escuela pudiese tener en sus alrededores, tales como ruido, tráfico, etc.

 

¡Sus comentarios e inquietudes son muy importantes, por favor no falte a la reunión!
